I have a blog myself and the first thing you need is patience. All the top Internet Marketers now promote good content and niche keywords as the secret to building traffic. Unless you are lucky this takes a lot of time to achieve.
Advertising it is good but it does cost money.

Did you ever look at Carbon Copy Pro.. They have excellent Internet Marketing Business Plan. I have personally been plugged into them and have benefited a lot.
They provide you excellent training to you when you are in the learning process. They also provide a marketing system where you can bring your leads and there is a professional call center which will call them to inform them about the system.
