If your a web designer or more importantly a web design student you must read and re-read this book. Robin Williams (not Mork from Ork) has written this book in such easy to understand language that you can literally read it from cover to cover and not get bored. Each time I pick it up I get excited knowing I'm going to learn something new and useful. Thanks Robin! It has some great design tips and ideas but nothing that can't be found in other books in greater detail. The glossy color pages make it fun to browse through, but there isn't enough detailed information on the various design topics. <br /> <br />I skimmed through the book within two or three days and don't see it as an item I will bother to purchase for my personal Web design library. I skimmed through the book within two or three days and don’t see it as an item I will bother to purchase for my personal Web design library.

I study at Sessions, a great site for learning design and I wanted to increase my web design basis. I'm fascinated with the simple but deep style of sharing knowledge by the author. It covers all aspects of web design: planning, dealing with clients, layout, composition, tools, etc. Is really a bargain! The real life examples motivate you to run to your computer to start designing new sites. Now I need time to redesign my site...with some new ideas inspired by the book. I love it!
